Meet the agents

Karen Berget, broker/owner

Karen has worked in real estate for 7 years. In addition to her real estate experience, she has gained a broad understanding of the community, while running The American House Bed and Breakfast and managing the historical society as well as serving as a member of the planning commission and school board. A graduate of UMM, she lives in Morris with her husband, Kyle, and children, Alyson and Lincoln. Karen is an enthusiastic leader of this dedicated team, devoted to making sure anyone who enters our door is treated with honesty, integrity and professionalism.

Kyle Berget, agent/owner

Kyle earned his real estate license after American Eagle Realty opened. He also works as a teacher at Morris Area Elementary School and enjoys coaching his kids in sports. Kyle is a life-long resident of Stevens County, and was born and raised in Hancock, MN. A graduate of U of M Morris, Kyle has lived in Morris since 1983 with his wife, Karen.

Patty Bormann, office assistant

Patty joined the Amerian Eagle Realty team in the fall of 2006. She brings a broad work experience to her position and truly shines in the area of customer service. Her first priority is meeting and greeting everyone who walks through our front door, making sure questions are answered and needs are met. Stop by to meet her or catch her live on the radio! She brings our lastest listings and happenings to you at 11:50am, Tuesdays on KMRS 1230 AM and Thursdays on KKOK 95.7 FM. Patty has raised three children in the Morris area with her husband, Tim, and enjoys continuing to be a part of the community.

Susie Hanson, accounting manager

Susie joined our staff in January of 2005 and is in the office Mondays. A graduate of UMM with a degree in Math, she enjoys helping with many of the details involved in running an office as well as learning about real estate and the Morris area. Susie lives in Morris with her husband, Kris, and two sons, Elliot and Nathaniel.
